I've recently assembled a sim card reader. However when I run the software I get the following error after pushing the'OK' button after selecting the port. Only one port (/dev/cu.PL2303-3B1) shows up in the list, whether the card is plugged in or not, which suggest to me I've not soldered the card properly.

I'm running mac os x 10.5.6 with python 2.6 and the appropriate version of wxpython and hand build pyserial.
I'm using the USB to TTL cable, because I'm using this I didn't bother to attach the 9V battery cord, serial connector, or the LM7805C to keep a slimmer profile. The green LED does light up.
